Plenty has changed along the way — such as growing from three roasters to twenty, and from dozens of customers to thousands — but Crema’s commitment to exceptional coffee and authentic human connection remains steadfast, the two pillars of our unfolding story.

Today, Crema is turning a page in that story. Emily McIntyre, Crema’s co-founder and Coffee Director whom you know and love, is stepping into an even bigger role as Crema’s General Manager. Meanwhile, the company has been acquired by coffee-industry veteran Michael Klassen of Blue Tiger Coffee in Seattle. Together with the rest of the Crema team, Emily and Michael are committed to making Crema an ever more vibrant marketplace both now and over the years to come.

As I step away from my day-to-day role, I am exceptionally grateful for my partnership with Emily and our team, with our amazing investors, roaster partners, and most of all you — our customers, fans, and backers. I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve built together, and remain Crema’s biggest fan.

Here’s to the next chapter of Crema’s story, to exceptional coffee, and to the people who make it a reality. ☕️
